Blue marine offers you to carry out analyses of Diesel fuel (Gas oil).

Gas oil analysis

Gas oil analysis

In order to do this, we proceed to a gas oil sampling on board the ship and work together with authorised laboratories to carry out the analysis.

This enables us to check the fuel conformity, particularly in case of the suspicion of pollution.

We provide a detailed analysis report including the analysis of the fuel’s characteristics, analysis of the pollution, contamination (yeast, bacteria, fungi), properties of the fuel, diagnosis, etc.

International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL)

Adoption: 1973 (Convention), 1978 (1978 Protocol), 1997 (Protocol - Annex VI); Entry into force: 2 October 1983 (Annexes I and II).

The International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships (MARPOL) is the main international convention covering prevention of pollution of the marine environment by ships from operational or accidental causes.

The Convention includes regulations aimed at preventing and minimizing pollution from ships - both accidental pollution and that from routine operations - and currently includes six technical Annexes. Special Areas with strict controls on operational discharges are included in most Annexes.
